Our name

Where the name comes from

Vaayu is a Sanskrit-origin word that means air, and the name Vaayum is derived from it.

It's the shared name and standard behind two independent businesses — a common set of values, with each company building essential infrastructure for India's future.

Vaayum Energy moves stored power to a decarbonising grid. Vaayum Tech moves information to the people who run a trade. Different problems, one conviction: the essential infrastructure of the future can be built here, to a world-class standard.
