1. Who we are

Vaayum Group ("Vaayum", "we", "us", or "our") is amarketing and umbrella brand — a shared identity for two independent businesses. Vaayum is not itself a registered legal entity, and this policy makes no company-registration, CIN, or GST claims on its behalf.

The two businesses that operate under the Vaayum name are separate, independently run private limited companies, each with its own website and its own privacy policy:

2. What we collect

This website is a static, informational marketing site. It hasno contact form, no sign-up, no account, and no lead-capture of any kind, so we do not ask you for — or collect — your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal detail on this site.

The only data connected to your visit is:

• Consent-gated analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage measurement that runs only after you opt in (see Analytics & consent).
• Two local preferences — a theme choice and your analytics decision, both stored in your own browser (see What we store locally). These never leave your device or reach our servers.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard server access logs (such as IP address and request time) transiently for security and delivery. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you.

3. Analytics & consent

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this site — such as pages viewed, broad geography, and device type — so we can improve it. This is the only analytics service on the site, and it is consent-gated.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 with all storagedenied by default. On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Until you accept, the Google Analytics script isnot loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, GA4 loads and sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies (typically up to a 2-year lifespan) to distinguish visitors and sessions. GA4 does not store full IP addresses.

You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie preferences control (also in the site footer). Declining keeps analytics off; accepting re-enables it. See our Cookie Notice for the full detail, and Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes the data.

4. What we store locally

Two small values are stored in your browser's localStorage. They are not cookies in the tracking sense, contain no personal data, and are never transmitted to us:

• vt-theme — remembers your light / dark colour-scheme choice so the correct theme loads on every page without a flash.
• vt-consent — remembers your analytics consent decision (accepted / declined) so we don't ask again on every visit.

5. The operating companies

This site introduces the two businesses but does not transact on their behalf. If you want to contact a business, make an enquiry, or exercise data rights that concern your dealings with a business, please use that company's own site — each is the data controller for the personal data it collects, under its own privacy policy:

Nothing you do on this site creates a relationship with, or shares your data with, either company. Any personal data you choose to share happens on their sites, on their terms.

6. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data, and — because this site collects no personal data beyond consent-gated analytics — there is nothing to share for marketing or profiling. The limited processing that does occur involves:

• Google (analytics) — only if you opt in; aggregate usage data is processed by Google as described in the Analytics & consent section.
• Our hosting provider — serves the static pages and may process transient server logs for security and delivery.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information where required by applicable law, court order, or a competent authority.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA 2023) and other applicable law, you have rights over your personal data — including access, correction, erasure, and withdrawal of consent. Because this site holds no personal data about you beyond your own locally-stored preferences and consent-gated analytics:

• To withdraw analytics consent, use the Cookie preferences control, or clear the vt-consent value in your browser.
• To exercise rights concerning a business (Energy or Tech), please contact that company directly via its own site — it is the controller for the data it holds.

8. Security

All traffic between your browser and this site is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. As a static informational site with no data collection, its attack surface is deliberately small. We nonetheless apply reasonable technical measures to keep it available and untampered. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience corporate site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including minors. As noted above, the site does not collect personal data beyond consent-gated analytics.

10. Third-party links

This site links out to the two operating companies' websites, to social profiles, and occasionally to other third-party resources. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or security of those destinations and accept no responsibility for them. When you follow such a link, that site's own privacy policy governs your visit.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always shows when the most recent revision was made. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
